    The original corset in the Dollymop collection exemplifies the silhouette of the entire line. This style features slender rib shaping and a comfortable and graceful waist curve as well as longline hip shaping, which drops smoothly to tail-coat like points at the side back that are very nice for fuller hips. The uplifting bust support is accentuated by the gently scooped neckline which is recommended for small to moderately full bustlines.

    In addition to the Original Line fabrics shown here, look for the more elaborate versions: Amelia, Antoinette, Lancer, Hussar, and Cavalry. Because of the eye-catching details, most people enjoy the outerwear fabrics designer Kalico Delafay has chosen for the Dollymop family as these corsets are just too delightful to hide from view.

      I am an avid corset wearer with MANY corsets in my collection, but this was my first corset by the coveted Dark Garden! Just prior to the pandemic, I saved my pennies and ordered a pin-striped black dollymop overbust. Because of the pandemic, we had to do a video chat for my fitting. I received a mock-up in the mail which I tried on virtually for DG's proprietress, Autumn; she was impressively thorough and professional and her expert eye recognized exactly the changes that needed to be made to the pattern for it to fit me perfectly. When the corset arrived, it fit like a glove. It is now my favorite corset! Cannot recommend this company or the dollymop corsets more highly. If you're thinking about it, you've come to the right place. Highest recommendation!
